Coir fibre is extracted from coconut husk. Husk contains 1/3 fibre and 2/3 coir pith. We are extracting coir fibre from various mechanical methods, like combing and beating. The coir fiber is relatively water-proof and is one of the few natural fibers resistant to damage by salt water. There are two varieties of coir.

Coir Yarn is widely demanded by innumerable industries, owing to its attributes like optimum quality and natural properties. Used for making varied different coir products, that is made out of the fiber extracted from coconut husk. Spun with traditional ratts and fully automatic spinning machines.

Coir Pith is a spongy material which is procured from the process of taking out of coir fiber from husk. It is known for its excellent soil conditioning properties and is therefore being extensively used as a soil-less medium for agri-horticultural purposes.
